At the Professional Photographers of Central Florida (PPCF), we celebrate the artistry and technical excellence of our members through two annual image competitions. In these competitions, each submitted image is evaluated and scored on a scale of 0-100 using the 12 Elements of a Merit Image—a rigorous standard that highlights creativity, impact, technical skill, and storytelling.

Each photographer can submit up to 4 images per competition, and their highest average score across both competitions determines their final ranking. These results culminate in the recognition of the Top Ten Photographers of the Year, including the coveted title of Photographer of the Year.
