Class Description: We will be covering the digital world of today and ways to protect yourself, your business, and your photography. While the class is intended to be very informational, it will be dialed in to not be overwhelming. It is structured into three main phases.
Phase 1 introduces how the modern day internet works, in a simplified way. Phase 2 focuses on “Digital Hygiene,” offering practical steps individuals can take to protect themselves.
Phase 3 expands to a broader societal perspective, encouraging audience members to “fight for tomorrow” by engaging with issues like AI, data brokers, and digital rights. It emphasizes collective action, awareness, and tools or organizations that support privacy and consumer rights.
The class will include member participation and a Q&A segment at the end to cover more personalized issues or concerns. A document will be shared at the end with sources & links to some of the discussed items.
