Born in Venezuela and raised in the United States, Jean Carlo Peñaloza brings a cross-cultural perspective to how people experience photography, media, and communication. With over 20 years in corporate America, he approaches creative work with a systems-first mindset, prioritizing efficiency, clarity, and repeatable results.
Jean Carlo is a Certified Professional Photographer, educator, and the founder of Captured Now Photography , a studio specializing in high-volume portraits with fast delivery for conferences, events, and organizations. His work focuses on the client and attendee experience rather than the hard sell, designing portrait workflows that feel seamless, professional, and respectful of people’s time.
He is also the host of The Outspoken Artist Podcast, a long-form conversation series spotlighting artists, educators, and industry voices. Jean Carlo has produced and hosted his show on-site at multiple major creative expos, including Imaging USA, ShutterFest, BILD Expo, and Peculiar Collective. These live, in-the-field conversations reflect his belief that meaningful dialogue happens where artists gather, work, and connect.
Across speaking, photography, and content creation, Jean Carlo teaches practical systems that reduce friction, build confidence, and help people show up consistently.
